This bag pattern uses the Foundation Paper Piecing Method (FPP) to create the front panel. It is not designed to teach FPP. We have how-to videos and tips if you want to learn.

Finished Bag Measures: 8"x6"

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: You will need the following items to create your Three Trees Zipper Pouch: One size #5 nylon coil zipper or zipper tape at least 8" in length. Fabric: Scraps that measure 4"x6" of 3 colors for each tree and 1 color for the trunks. Fat quarter of background fabric. Fat quarter of lining fabric. Two 2"x2" squares for the zipper ends that match the zipper, background, or contrast (your choice). A fun tag from someone like Sarah Hearts (optional). Light to medium-weight fusible fleece interfacing for the outside panels. Pelon SF 101 for the lining panels. Matching thread. Basic sewing supplies.
