Location + Logistics
- Venue: Jittery Wings Studio, 1400 Main Street, Newberry, SC
- Four (4) Days: Wednesday at 1:00 PM through Saturday at 9:00 PM
- Included: Instruction, studio access, curated fabric, tools, irons, mats, sewing tables, chairs, design walls, Color Flow Theory resources
- Not included: Travel, lodging, and meals (recommendations provided)

Frequently asked questions
Do I need advanced quilting skills?
Not at all. Beginner quilters are welcome. The retreat is designed to meet each participant where they are and build confidence in color and design, no matter their experience level.
Can I bring my own fabric?
There’s no need to bring fabric — you will receive your own curated fat quarter bundle to make your quilt from. However, if participants prefer to bring their own, solids and blenders work best for the color flow process.
Will I finish a quilt at the retreat?
Some participants will get their quilt tops completely sewn together, while others may not. Most will at least have their quilt top fully laid out by the end of the retreat. Mitzie continues to provide encouragement and support through email and the HIVE for anyone who wants guidance after the retreat ends.
What is the cancellation policy?

- Please read and understand the FULL terms and conditions. They are binding for all event registration ticket purchases. Below is the summary.PURCHASER/TICKET HOLDER: The person purchasing the ticket intending to attend the event.No exchange or transfer of registration tickets between the original ticket holder and a third party will be made under any circumstances.Tickets are non-refundable. In the event the PURCHASER/TICKET HOLDER cannot attend, it is the PURCHASER/TICKET HOLDER’s responsibility to contact Jittery Wings Quilt Co. LLC via email at mitzie@jitterywingsquiltco.com to facilitate the resell of the original ticket. Please do this as soon as possible to allow time for reselling. Jittery Wings Quilt Co. LLC will attempt to resell the ticket minus a transfer fee outlined below. We will do our due diligence to resell the original ticket. What supplies should I bring?
Bring your basic sewing tools, rotary cutter, favorite ruler (24” is a great option), your sewing machine (a limited number are available for rent if needed), and thread. Everything else — fabric, design walls, 8 cutting stations for 16 people, and 8 pressing stations— will be waiting at the studio.
