This isn’t one of my usual patterns. Paint by Number is my biggest, most detailed pattern yet, because it does the design work for you. My other patterns give you a plan and let you make the choices. This one spells out every fabric, every block and every placement.

FAQs
Can I use fabric from my stash?
Yes! Choose the PDF Pattern Only option.
Is there a printed pattern?
No. Paint by Number is PDF only because this is a mystery quilt. It lives in your Jittery Wings account and a new step in the pattern will drop into your account each month. You may print it anytime.
Do I have to join the Quilt Along?
No. The pattern works on its own and keeps updating every month. The Quilt Along adds videos, feedback, giveaways, and community.
Can I cancel the Quilt Along Pass?
No. The Pass is 9 monthly payments of $10 and can’t be canceled once you join. Once it’s paid in full, the videos are yours to keep.
Can I cancel HIVE+?
Yes, anytime. If you cancel, you’ll lose Quilt Along access, but your pattern will keep updating in your account.
I’m already in HIVE+. What do I need?
Just the pattern. The Quilt Along is included in your membership.
When does registration close?
January 14, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. ET. The first pattern step will drop into your account on January 16, 2027.
What if I miss registration? Can I join late?
No. When registration closes, it really closes. After January 14, the pattern, fabric bundles, and Quilt Along Pass will no longer be available, and we can’t accept late registrations. Paint by Number won’t be sold again until after the October 16 reveal, so if you want to sew along with us, please register by January 14.
